Devang's journey began modestly, sitting at a borrowed desk in his friend’s office. He didn’t have an office of his own, but what he did have was a burning passion and an unwavering belief in his idea. The early days were filled with uncertainty and questions: How could he break into the tight-knit startup ecosystem of India? How could he convince investors to believe in him?
One of the biggest challenges Devang faced was navigating the small and close-knit startup ecosystem in India. Getting into the investment circuit felt like trying to join an exclusive club without an invitation. But Devang was relentless. He networked tirelessly, attended countless events and made connections that would prove invaluable. His perseverance paid off and he began to build relationships within the ecosystem.
Creating his own base of investors was another uphill battle. Convincing seasoned investors to put their money into businesses referred by a newcomer wasn’t easy.
